What to Expect
When you arrive at Christian Chapel on a Sunday morning you can expect a casual, friendly, family atmosphere. You will see people from a variety of backgrounds and ages gathered together to worship God.
What should I wear? Clothes! Feel free to wear whatever you want – from shorts & a t-shirt to a suit & tie, you’ll find someone dressed like you.
How long will I be there? Our worship service starts at 10:00 a.m. A typical service ends between 11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
What about my kids? Your children will join you for the first 30-40 minutes of the worship service. We will take a break during the service to dismiss the children to their classes, where they will learn about Jesus in an age appropriate setting. For more info check out the Chapel Kids page.
What is the music like? There’s no pipe organ – but no fog machines either. Our worship music is contemporary, with the occasional hymn. Our goals with music are to worship God with songs that glorify Him through their lyrics, and that we can sing together (songs that are lyrically meaningful and musically accessible).
What about the sermon? Each week you can expect a message rooted in the teaching of Scripture & applicable to your daily life. Our goal in all of our teaching and preaching is to help everyone become more dependent on Jesus Christ.
